Sent martin Island is the Tourist place


               Bangladesh is a small country. But it has many beautiful tourist places. Sent Martin Island is in the northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal, Cox’s bazaar-Taknaf peninsula distant 9 k.m. south of the tip. And forming southernmost part of Bangladesh. The northwest coast of Myanmar at the mouth of the Naïf River it has distant 8 k.m .Narical Ginger is the local name of the Island. Bangladesh has only one coral Island it.
        






              Sent martin most people5500 inhabitants live primary from fishing. Other staple crops are rice and coconut. October and April, the fishermen from neighboring areas bring their caught fishes to the Island's temporary wholesale market. The centre and the south are mainly farmland and makeshift huts, most of the strenuous things are around the far north of the Island.             You don’t electricity here and tarred roads. Except for the larger hotels that run on generators, there is no electricity supply from National grid in the island. The sun about the Island is all, sea and palm tress and coconut tree always.Duting the day the island comes alive with water and beach sports, with beach parties and bonfires lighting up the event in skies.


Sent martin is a popular tourist spot. The surrounding coral reef of the Island has an extension named Cheri Dip’s small bush is there, which is the only green part of the Cheri Dwip, enhancing the beauty of this Island. This Island does not live people. So it is advisable for the tourists to go there early and come back by afternoon.








         In the past five years Sent martin visitor population increased dramatically. This situation has proven to be lucrative for the Islanders. the natural beauty of the Island to deteriorate. Presently there are many efforts being put forth to preserve the several endangered aperies of turtles that nest on the Island, as the corals, some of which are found only on Narikel jiniera. It is possible to walk around the Island in a day because it measures only 8 k.m.Shrinking to about 5 k.m during high tide. The Island exists only because of its coral base, so removal of that coral risks erosion of the beaches.
